Hi everybody,
I just updated to FW 10.0 and via Choi, put sigfiles and I just noticed some errors I've never seen before :

All the apps seem to be in Applet Mode which prevents them to work properly, is there a way to deactivate it ?

Is there a way to delete those failed installation games that show just the spinning icon in the game bar menu ?
They won't show the contextual menu when you press plus.

I reinstalled all the games anew and it seems I can't play some of them due to a generic, non coded starting error (game couldn't start please download it again) some others, especially updates and dlcs won't install even by using Lithium, the only application now working due to applet mode apparent restrictions.

Is there a way to import old savefiles from backupped previous MicroSd files?
Where are they located folderwise?

Thanks in advance for your time and help !

Hold the top right bumper and open any game it will open hbm with full memory access.

Use Goldleaf`s Title management section to uninstall your failed installs.

I use ns-usbloader along with Awoo installer to good effect when installing nsp`s.

Are the save files backups made with edizon or checkpoint? If yes, you can ftp them over to your switch or use nxmtp and transfer via usb. If no and they are regular save files I don`t know if that works.

If any one else reads this. whenever you update you always do the following.
1) First upgrade with Choi, ( DO NOT TRY TO RUN ANY GAMES JUST YET)
2) update sigpatches and put them inside your Atmosphere folder in you SD CARD (old sigpatches you already had will not work)
3) you need to update all homebrew apps to the compatible version of your CFW. (latest version)

there is 2 ways to access homebrew menu applet mode and full ram mode

applet mode is opened by just runnig the album
full ram mode is opened by: press and HOLD ( keep holding ) the "R" button AKA (trigger) (bumper) while at the same time open a game press "A" button (keep holding R) untill full ram mode opens homebrew menu.

Thanks again for your prompt and clear answers but something really weird now happens when I try the bumper trick.
I try to open a game in this case Neverwinter Nights, which used to work flawlessly before, it says
"could not start software please try again from the home menu"
Then I try the bumper trick and instead of loading the game it kicks me back to HBmenu, this time NOT in applet mode, even if it really is because the same apps aren't working there, and the game is not playable even if it says PLAYING in the game bar menu.
For some reason now Tinfoil appears as a game once it fails to work and if you try to open it from the bar intead of Hbmenu it just fails again.
All the dlcs now can't be installed even if I had them before, and a message pops up telling me they are garbage files that could damage the console even after installing right sigpatches.
I'm clueless. Am I doing anything wrong? All the apps have been upgraded to the proper version, but I'll double check just in case.
I'll try ns-usbloader along with Awoo installer as soon as I can, maybe they'll help.
Thanks again guys.

Everytime you open the Homebrew menu in full ram mode you need to stop it from running similar to what you do with games

say for example you open HBM in full ram mode with Never winter nights. whem you press "home button" to go back to your home screen. you will see that neverwinter nights says in small text "running" simply press "X" button on your joycon now open neverwinter nights again and your game will start just fine.

About the DLCs and telling you they are garbage and tinfoil appearing as an NSP> its all tinfoils fault. any game that has been patched for a lower version or has been modified to remove ticket tinfoil will give you that error. even if the NSP is just fine 100% playable.
I will not assist you with Tinfoil support I as was helping other users before. Tinfoil dev is acting stupid with his closed source app and i will not be a part of it. greedy beaches monetizing on homebrew tinfoil, sx os and HBG shop (asking aggressively for donations while blocking other online Shops )

Ok thanks Dorian, which installers and other apps would you recommend as an alternative to avoid these kind of problems in the future ?

2 main really good ones

1) GoldLeaf + Quark for USB installation nsp installer file explorer.
2) Awoo + NS- USBloader. = good NSP+ XCI installer software

IN my case i have them both as they dont use any space on your SD might as well keep them.

tinfoil is bound to give you issues if you want to use Kosmos (red screen) blocks JITS. annoying "security checks" all it does is check if you paid for sx os. and it wil encourage you to buy it for premium features LOL. no mode checks on patched NSPs.
