It was all good just a week ago...

I was using a 128gb micro sd card which works just fine (im using it for emulators and retro games solely)

But it all went downhill when I decided to get a 256gb!! I can not get it to work at all! At first I copied everything over from the 128gb but that didnt work.

It doesn't seem to be taking well to any payload. Once i get it going its great but then it just crashes again when I load games on it or delete apps.

Currently I'm getting an errorcode that says "Fatal error: An exception has occured." Can anyone help me out with a proper install. I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

I'm using TegraRcmGUIv2.6 and injecting the latest Fusee-primary.bin & I've also tried Hekate 5.1.3 but it just boot up the intro screen and then goes black. I've restarted and switch sd cards and rcm'd this thing so many times, I'm finally asking for help.

It's in ExFat currently... which hasnt given me any problems up until this point. How do format it to Fat32 and still put the large files i need?

problem might not even be you.

for what I read on your post the logic thing to do it check if you have a good SD card.
couple of days ago i helped someone who had problems card corrupting itself and it turned out to be a fake / scam sd card

i recommend a windows app called "fakeflashtest" download it and test your SD card .
you do not need to use that program if you dont like it. there are plenty of free software to test your sd flash memory.

i just formatted to FAT32.... with some more googling. I've made progress again. We'll see how it goes when i copy games over.
 
ebay? now you run a 50/50 chance its fake.
if you had so much trouble i would test it first and not spend the next 3 hours working on it installing games

Its in FAT32 now. But how do I get files that are larger than 4gb to onto my card?

I tried installing SMB .xci but Nintendo is saying the data is corrupted... sigh

How do I test it?

Dude I've been spending all week doing this. It's been crazy, to be fair most of it was spend working on a ps classic for my inlaws though. But this is a whole nother monster.
