Injected wrong payload, fatal error and black screen

Hi guys,

Hopefully someone can help with what I've done.
I updated to firmware 15.0 using the helpful guide on here but had some issues with Sig patches (or at least thought I did) so then changed to 14.0.1. I fucked up though and didn't change payload when I restarted the console, so will have been using the payload for 15.0.
I immediately got a message about a fatal error and now have a black screen. I've held the power button for 30 seconds but it stays black.
Is there a guide for reversing fuck ups like this? I can't seem to find one.

I'm not entirely sure but I don't think so. I usually power down the switch and then boot up with a dongle. That said a couple of times it has crashed and gone into Hekate and asked me to inject the payload from there.

Hope that makes sense.

your error is no big deal. dont worry about it you havent done anything to mess up your switch .

all you need to do is plug your switch in your computer and get your switch into RCM. when tegraRCMGUI detects your switch make sure to boot with 15.0.0 Fusee.bin and you should be back to normal without any issues

God I hope you're right because I've a seven year old daughter who isn't going to forgive me if I've bricked it.
I've tried plugging the Switch into my computer but it's telling me that there's no RCM device connected. I've inserted the jig and pressed power button and volume button in same way I always did.
I've had it charging for a while too but that hasn't helped.

I pressed and held the power button for 30 seconds and then did the power button and volume and plugged into my computer, injecting the payload that came with DorianX's AllinOne.

All now seems to work properly. Thanks DorianX and everyone. Best website in the universe.

I am glad you managed to get it into RCM and sorted everything out.

it is very hard to brick a Switch and the guides i post are brick proof. even to the most noob jailbreakers.

Thanks Dorian, I'm definitely a big fan of your guides and the site in general.

if this happens again just hold down the power button and volume up and have it connected to your pc with tegra (ust happened to me 10 minutes ago and that's how I got it off that screen. ) ... ..or let the battery die and try it again which is the slow way as u have to let the battery die haha
