So I left my backpack on the bus with my switch in it (Along with a 512GB micro SD card, and the satisfye gaming grip/case) and I was wondering if I were to buy a new switch, a regular switch not a switch lite, what are the chances I would get a hackable switch? Any websites that sell hackable switches? Thanks.

If you go retail stores (walmart, target, etc etc) you will get a red mariko patched unit.
your best bet right now is to go, cragislist, offer up, facebook store. and maybe another phone app i am keep forgetting.
cuz of the pandemic prices for a ($250 used switch) now they are $400. and hackable $500 in my area (big ass city) hopefully you will get lucky with a cheap one. let me know if you do

First of all. My condolences. This is AWEFUL!
Secondly, don't fret. The first 10 million switches produced (approximately) are hackable. There's approximately 60 million switches sold worldwide so that makes 1 in 6 hackable.
My advice is to contact people locally selling used switches and see if they are willing to give you the first 8 or 9 characters of the serial number (if people are sketched out you can explain you don't need the whole serial number)
check the serial number against an online resource.
Doing it this way should avoid you having to pay some sort of premium for the hackable switch (above the corona shortage premium anyhow) but you may need to purchase it as a bundle with games, etc that you don't need. Just do it.... and resell the extra stuff.
