I bought a ps4 with a 4.00 firmware. Can I direct update it to 5.05 without other previews firmware

yes you can, but do not use internet to download the update, find the update 5.05 on this site and download it on pc and install it by usb

Hello,
1) Download 5.05 Retail Firmware from AKL: https://ayakalounge.me/PS4/FWlist
2) PUP move to your USB.
3) Disable internet connection.
4) Turn off PS4 and wait then go to safe mode.
5) 3. Update System Software
Why does everyone forget to mention taking the disc out of the drive too. Always remove any game disc from the system before starting a manual update. In the unfortunate circumstances the disc has a newer firmware on it it will install instead of the USB. I know it's unlikely but someone may have a game with too new a firmware in... It has as happened...
