I have games for linux and i can launch them on a a linux pc without steam.

how can i do this on the linux ps4 distro? (without steam)

Copy the game files/installers on a USB drive and then over to your PS4 Linux? From there you can install them or simply run them (depending on whether it needs to be installed or can be run instantly - I have seen both). Unless you are speaking of "Games for Linux from Steam". In that case you need to find non Steam releases of these games or their native no DRM Linux releases. Alternatively if you get the Internet connection working on the PS4 in Linux you could just download the files directly to your PS4 Linux.

Well, the only thing I could think of is debugging why it isn't working. See if there are any logs in the game folder. Start the game executable via console and see what the output says. This way I have discovered some missing dependencies for some game on Linux. When the game crashed it left a good error message in the console.

I did research on that message and figured out the missing packages. Installed them and the game worked. Sometimes it also a matter of permissions.

However given that Linux on PS4 is not entirely working like on a real PC the games might simply not work.
