Help!!! database destroyed

I need help!!! I am on 5.05 but i accidently downloaded the latest firmware. It didnt install but somehow i got an error that database is destroyed. I still have the debugsettings on my menu but i cant connect via ftp to my pc in order to delete....Im afraid that if i initialize or format the ps4 it will automatically update to the latest firmware since it is downloaded. How can rebuild or delete the database and keep the 5.05???? Im new to the jailbreak...Any help appreciated!!!!!

you should have just used update blocker but if that's your situation id just use lapy file xplorer and delete it manually. Not sure what you can't ftp. I think you are just confused or don't know how to do it.

i used the update blocker and after a lot of restarts i finally managed to connect via ftp and deleted the update. Also used db rebuilter restored the database. After 5 hours of reading I finally did it! Thanks for the help. I think i upgraded my nood status today....
