Hi,

I have changed my ps4 harddrive and want to restore or copy my savegame from my old harddrive to the newest.
I have tried to copy from FTP into new profile folder, i get an error when loading the game after that.
Any got an solution for restoring my savegame into my new HDD?

How about using the backup / restore option in the settings? That should work.
 
Using backup / restore option mean I have to connect into PSN that's i don't want to do because it will force to update my firmware.
I tried to copy my savegame with FTP, i got error "NP-32038-6" when trying to lauch games or looking my trophy.
My PS4 won't start in Safe Mode for trying rebuild database.
 
Because save files are encrypted, there is no way of restoring them to a new/different PS4 profile without them appearing as corrupted. This will change once we can decrypt them and re-assign them to other profiles. There's work being done on this, and hopefully, we'll have a save editor in the near future.

I'm playing my PS4 with the built-in User1 account that was never connected to PSN. I never created a PSN account. If I back-up the save files with the FTP method, can I restore them in the future?

P.S. the only change that I've made to the profile was changing the name.

As long as the profile remains the same, restored saves should work.
