Hi, i have a PS4 500GB with 5.05 jailbrak. I bought it recently already like this and i am very new to this scene. First time i own a console after 20+ years since the PS1 days.

Anyway i have been installing games fine so far via PKG i got from torrents. Today i got 2 new games, MediEvil and Erica. After installing them it said i needed to upgrade my PS4 version.

I tried backporting them from 6.72 to 5.05 but again it didnt work. I think i am missing something since Medievil says its 6.0 and Erica 6.5. I am not sure what to do since the only version i see online for backporting is 6.72. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would simply upgrade to 6.72 because the jailbreak has become quite a bit more stable than in its first weeks. Especially Leeful v6 works great. So far all my 5.05 games also work on 6.72. No problems with saving or similar.

Erica has no backport available and can therefore probably not be backported like some other games. Medievil CUSA12982 has two backport patches: https://ayakalounge.me/threads/5-05-backport-patch-thread.40594/

What about the versions? I can only see backporting from 6.72 but i have seen quite a few games with different ones 6.0 or else. I cant find any info on them about backporting. Am i missing something?

Edit: I tried Medievil because i downloaded the backported patch, the one with multiple 500mb files. But i face the same problem. When i try to install it it says it has already been installed. I reinstall it and then displays same error about updating to 6.0.
