Black screen on restart, have to unplug to turn off.

Hey All,

As the title states, I am having troubles on restart. Whenever I turn the system on from sleep mode, it gives me a black screen and has to be restarted by removing the power cord. I believe it may be because it goes to sleep with HEN running. It has corrupted my HDD two times. Any fix? Not sure if I'm missing something but this is becoming a pain in the ass. Help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I just turn mine off because of this issue. never use sleep mode anymore
 
I found a solution but your game will not be suspended in Rest Mode
Go to Settings/Power Save Settings/Set Features available in rest mode
and turn off Keep Application suspended
Now when you use rest mode it wont freeze up your console!!!
 
It is not recommended to use the rest mode function with exploits. It usually causes a kernel panic which prevents the console from waking up properly.

I would avoid using it at all. It's not like the PS4 needs a lot of time to start or so. Rather shut it down and start it again.

that kind of defeats the point of rest mode for me, so I will just continue to turn it off fully
 
i restart ps4 to exit out of hen/mira mode . then i can put it in sleep. its safer this way.

Why bother. You would be just as well leaving it off, since you have to restart it anyway. Makes no sense to restart just to put in sleep for no reason

Rest Mode doesn't work well with HEN and doesn't work at all with Mira+Hen so what you need to do is Turn off Auto-Rest Mode completely in your settings and when you want to put your ps4 in Rest Mode, first RESTART the ps4 so it can boot back up with no exploits loaded. Then go to rest mode.

PS4 boots faster from Rest mode than completely shutting it down.
