So I recently hacked my switch. OFW 8.1 and AMS 9.2. I used Kosmos to install AMS.

If I want to make a backup of one of my installed games, what is the preferred method?

I noticed Goldleaf has the option to convert an installed title to nsp and back it up but I don't know where Goldleaf stores them.

Thanks to all

go to the homebrew store and look for a program called nxdumptool so you can dump a copy of your game
its an awesome program it Generates full Cartridge Image dumps (XCI) with optional certificate removal and optional trimming.
Generates installable Nintendo Submission Packages (NSP)

Ok thank you. That's exactly what I was looking for. It will be the weekend before I can try it. I will update you at that time.

By the way, thank you for helping me here and in the discord

Yep yep, I am megaman322000. Thank you 윤희지. My account seems to be fully functional now.

One more question. I guess I should have performed a factory reset on my switch before I started hacking it but the previous owner had a few games that I was interested in keeping so I left his old account on there when I hacked it.

Is there any way to delete his account? I tried in goldleaf but I get an error and cannot delete it.

just go to settings and create a new account with your name and picture
you dont even need to delete his account just go ahead and change the console name in settings
No need to factory reset . once you hack the switch you cant go online so might aswell forget it has wifi and keep it like it is

I created my own "dummy" account before I hacked it. Was just hoping there was some way to remove his.

I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to things like that. Just wanted my account to be the only one on it. I was just hoping I wouldn't need to factory reset to achieve that goal.

I've already installed 15 games.

there is NO master/ Admin profile in the switch
go to settings.> then users.> select his old profile and select delete user

I tried that. The previous owner had 2 profiles on the switch. One was not linked to a Nintendo account and I deleted it easily. The only profile was linked to a Nintendo account and when I try deleting it in settings it gives me error code 2155-8007.

So next I tried deleting it in Goldleaf account manager and it gives me error code 0xdc7c.

in the same menu where you delete user unlink the account first then go ahead and delete it
if that doesnt work. reset will be the only way. ( I wouldnt do it too much hasle for little gain )

Ok thank you my friend. I have a feeling you have hit upon the solution.
I will try it this weekend. I just hope I will not need his password to unlink it.

Thank you for the advice. I got home a little earlier than expected. So I went ahead and tried nxdumptool. It works great.

I dumped the majority of my games with goldleaf but there were a few that were over 4gb and I used nxdumptool for those.
