Applying sig patches

Hello,
How are you supposed to use sig patches correctly? Everything works starting with Kosmos 15.3 on 9.2.0 firmware and patches here https://github.com/Joonie86/hekate/releases/tag/15.3 (2nd file). How do you get it working when updating Atmosphere to 0.10.5 (Kosmos 15.3 comes with Atmosphere 0.10.4)? Reapplying the patches doesn't work.

Try installing this:

make sure you follow the instructions. Kosmos does not equal atmosphere. So this is prob your prob. You installed latest atmos over kosmos and you can’t do it that way. Follow the fellows instructions. You can install latest atmos over atmos latest kosmos over kosmos they are not interchangeable and the kosmos git explains that if you read carefully. Hope that helps!

Thanks, I thought Kosmos was Atmosphere + extras and could update Atmosphere separately.

nope. It talks about this if you read their git. Notice the git i linked you to as well. So basically kosmos is not yet updated for latest atmos. If you want to keep using kosmos you would wait for them to update the to latest atmos in their package. Otherwise before installing a new atmos you must first remove any previous installs of kosmos then update to latest atmos. It is kind of annoying. Just follow instructions in the git i linked and that should give you latest atmos with latest sig for 9.2.0 see if that sorts issue and post if it does. It might not but it is helpful. Remember users are reporting issues with 9.2.0 so this might help others. Personally I am staying on 9.1.0 till something breaks.

I agree with seanp2500 9.1.0 is the best firmware at the moment.
everyone remember that 9.2.0 just came out and not all homebrew apps are updated. and as of now animal crossing is the only big tittle that requires at least 9.1.0.

Kosmos is not atmosphere. sometimes kosmos extras translate to problems when they fall behind on updates

in order to apply sigpatches you just need to download the file on your computer . extract it and paste it on your SD card.(you will get a folder named Atmosphere) just drag it to you SD card
