About game saves

Does does the fake package game file uses the same save data as the retail game?

For example, lets say I had 100% completion for a game on disc. I lost the disk and now I'm thinking of downloading the FPKG, would it work with my old save?

Unfortunately it isn't going to work this way! You cannot use retail saves on FPKG game and vice versa.
