Hello,

Been meaning to do this for a while but with my pc having problems and me using my tablet most of the time...

Soooooo.... Let's just start with these questions :)

1. How did you find ayakalounge? Stumbled upon it when psxhax stopped hosting PKG's...

2. What is your favorite games? Final Fantasy 6/7/9/10, Vragant Story, Secret Of Mana and basically lots of snes/psx era RPG's..., Resident Evil and Silent Hill series (the old one's) as well as other more obscure survival horror games... Metroid and Castlevania series, I'm a bit of a sucker for the metroidvania genre :p, big interest in Asian culture and I like a lot of games with those themes, or import games... Really enjoyed Gravity Rush Remastered and am greatly looking forward to play the second one very soon ! Persona series. Nier Automatica. Currently going back to play all of the games that came before Nier. Also love visual novel and puzzle games. Weird stuff like I'll try anything Suda51 releases. I also really enjoy "Walking Simulators" :p guess deu to getting older I like more relaxing games like Virginia, What Remains Of Edith Finch, Dear Esther, Firewatch, The Unfinished Swan, Ethan Carter, etc.... In general I avoid most triple A games and stick to Indies or retro gaming lately. Love games like Yomawari, Lone Survivor, Owlboy, Celeste, Iconoclasts, Hob, Hyper Light Drifter, Bastion, etc....

Portal and The Swapper are also amazing. Grew up on Half-life, Unreal, Quake, Doom, Duke Nukem, Wolfenstein etc, and played mostly all FPS games up until Bioshock 2 or something. Around that time I stopped gaming but lately I'm at it again. Not to keen on playing FPS again but I do still enjoy em when I'm in the right mood :)

Also, DARK SOULS and BLOODBORNE !!!!! Salt And Sanctuary, Mega man series, etc... Still like my games hard, and also really enjoy retro 2D games, either old games or indies... Big retro gamer and I'm gutted with the takedown of some of these EMU/ROM sites lately.... :/

3. What is your favorite anime or cartoon, comic, hentai, drama? Anime :

I guess the very first one's I bought in import shops as a kid :) Neon Genesis Evangelion, Guyver, Record Of Lodoss War, Fist Of The North Star, Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Planetes, etc... Still love that sort of 90's anime I grew up with, as well as the classics everone has seen I suppose :)

Belladonna of Sadness might be my fav anime movie ever.

Everything Ghibli related. Think I must've watched every single Ghibli movie released about 4 times, the one's I really love even more.... :) Me and my GF would do marathon's and watch em all in order over the course of two weeks :p First anime DVD I bought was Porco Rosso when I was about 10 years old, together with the Neon Genesis Evangelion set. Before that I mainly watched the typical over the top "manga" vhs tapes that made it to europe like Guyver, Fist Of The North Star, Wicked City, Akira, Ghost In The Shell, etc...

As for more modern things, well the obvious I suppose like Steins;Gate, A.O.T., Space Dandy, Ghost In The Shell., Mushisi, Hunter X Hunter, Ergo Proxy, Full Metal Panic, ... Most of those aren't too modern I guess :p Haven't watched too much lately, but plan on watching "When they cry" and some other anime soon. The Ito Junji Collection is also on the top of my watchlist... As well as Azumi, Parasyte, Assassination Classroom, One Punch Man, and some other horror anime I can't quite recall the name of :p Like I said, also really like the 90's stuff I grew up with like Wicked City, Pet Shop Of Horrors, 3x3 Eyes, Devilman, Doomed Megalopolis, MD Geist, Urotsukidoji, etc.... :p

More anime like Night on the galactic railroad, the Leijiverse anime series and movies, anything by Makoto Shinkai <3, Satoshi Kon <3, Mamuro Hosoda <3, Mamuro Oshii, Rintaro, the guy who did Time Of Eve and Patema Inverted, Keichi Haru, the guy who did Hal and Colorful, Wolf Children, Jin-ro The Wolf Brigade, Short movies like Neo Tokyo, Robot Carnival, The Animatrix, Memories, Steamboy, Short Piece, etc etc.... :)

Also René Laloux who made Fantastic Planet, Masters of time, Gandahar. Other western classics like Feherlofia, Wizards, Heavy Metal, The Black Cauldron, NIMH, The Last Unicorn, The Phantom Tollbooth, Watership Down, etc... Michel Ocelot ! (prince et princess, Kirikou, etc...)

More modern stuff like Nina Sings The Blues, The Prophet, The Iron Giant, Song Of The Sea, The Breadwinner, Persepolis, Waltz With Bashir, A Scanner Darkly, Waking Life, Mary and Max, Ernest et Celestine, Les triplets de belleville, L'illussionist, The Giant Peach ...

Anything by Henry Selick or Tim Burton. Also love Pixar movies and other CGI movies that are basicaly for kids :p

Alice In Wonderland <3 Seen many variations of the movie, love em all except for the Johnny Depp movies :p

Alice Z Neco (or something) by Jan Svankmajer ! As well as his other movies, amazing director !

Also modern western cartoon shows like Rick and Morty, Over The Garden Wall, Samurai Jack, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Bojack Horseman, Archer, Venture Bross, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, Boondocks, Invader Zim, Avatar, South Park, Spawn etc....

BIG ANIME / ANIMATION / COMIC / MANGA FAN BASICALY !!!!! :) And seen much more movies lately as opposed to series. Watched a lot of older series but the last few years basically watch a lot of movies... Both animated as well as live-action. Lot's of animation, art-house, surreal, scifi, horror, fantasy, foreign, etc... As long as it's interesting and original !!!!

I'm also a big Moebius and Alejandro Jodorowsky fan. Both comics and movies.... Love Metal Hurlant and Humanoids comics... Soleil and other French publishers. Big comic fan too. Sticking mainly to indie, rarely venture to one of the big two, only for nostalgia's sake and when a writer I love is attached to it. Mainly reading Image, Vertigo, Dark Horse, Archaia, some IDW and Boom, the new Valiant comics are also amazing ! 2000ad, avatar, icon, cinebook, etc...

I've read a lot of the old Vertigo series ! Big fan of those and on a mission to read everything Vertigo :p Favs are obvious ones like Hellblazer, Swamp Thing, Animal Man, The Invisibles, Preacher, Y The Last Man, Sweet Tooth, SANDMAN, LUCIFER, Suicide Squad, The Unwritten, Starman, Scalped, DMZ, etc... :)

DC's Young Animal imprint seems very interesting though I haven't read anything yet....

Fav writers like Grant Morrison, Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore, Brian Vaughan, Bendis, Jeff Lemire, Matt Fraction, Luna Brothers, Charles Burns, Ales Kot, Nathan Edmondson, Magnolia, Brubaker, Warren Ellis, Peter Milligan, Mike Carey, Wiebe, Sam Keith, etc. You get the picture, good stuff, and trying to avoid superhero crap (though been reading some marvel ultimate by Bendis and enjoyed it ! Might read some more modern Marvel / DC by writers I like in the future.... Indies are just moore interesting but I see that Marvel is also putting out quite some quirky books that aren't that superhero related so might look into those! :) )

I did grow up on 90's Image and Marvel, and although I dislike Marvel and DC stealing my favorite Indie writers, luckily they still keep writing their own books. So I do look forward to reading some more modern Marvel books by some of the writers I mentioned :) I just never get around to it :p Atm everything Image and Vertigo is just too attractive for me... As well as some Dark Horse, Humanoids, Soleil and Archaia. Also started reading Ito Junji and really love that sort of stuff ! Classic psychedelic Doctor Strange is also cool ! :D

As for movies, I love art-house stuff as well as Asian and horror movies, but also Drama, Fantasy, Scifi etc... Whatever really, though the weirder and surreal it gets the more I like it generally :p

Love Asian cinema... Director's like Takashi Miike, Joon-ho Bong, Jee-woon Kim, Akira Kurasawa, Kiyoshi Kurosawa,, Hirokazu Koreeda, Sion Sono, Chan-wook Park, Shinja Tsukamoto, the guy who made Housu, and the one who did I Saw The Devil... The guy from Chaser and The Wailing <3, and many many more, not very easy to remember these Asian names so I'd have to check my external hard drive :p Though I think those names should say enough to anyone who's into asian cinema....

Lots of other foreign cinema too !

Also have a weakness for Horror movies though it's hard to find good ones lately ! More director's I love are Lars Von Trier, David Lynch, Gaspar Noel, Guillermo Del Toro, Alejandro Innaritu, Alejandro Amenabar, Alejandro Jodorowsky :p, David Cronenberg, David Bruckner, Andrei Tarkovsky, Andrej Zulawski, Roman Polanski, Elem Klimov, Christopher Nolan, Darren Aronofsky, Don Coscarelli, Nicolas Winding Refn <3 <3 <3, Jim Jarmush, Mario Bava, Dario Argento, John Carpenter, Elias Merhige (Begotten, Din Of Celestial Bird, Suspect Zero), Jeremy Saulnier, Ben Weathley, Alice Lowe, Mike Keating, Christopher Smith, Nacho Vigilando, David Michod, Dennis Villeneuve, Luc Besson, Wes Anderson, Michel Gondry, Spike Jonez, Taika Waititi, Alex Garland, SHANE CARRUTH !!! <3 Panos Cosmatos, etc etc, list can go on for ages :)

4. Do have any musical interests you would like to share with us?

https://www.last.fm/user/stief303

I listen to anything from the pop music you laugh about and soft beautiful ambient, to the nastiest noise, drone, metal, power electronics etc out there. Do tent to go more and more progressive and experimental .... Always looking for innovation. Dabled into every music scene there is almost, wether it's techno/freeparty/hardcore/breakcore or punk/metal/psych/black etc... Last two years focusing mostly on modern experimental jazz and metal music though, some drone and noise, and weird music in general :p ... Still love a lot of psych... Huge vinyl collector too btw. Used to organize gigs, and might still do so in the future.... Used to go to Roadburn, Incubate, Yellowstock, different Psych and Jazz fests all over europe, Dunajam, Krach Am Bach, Freak Valley, State-X-Forms, etc....

5. Where are you from? Belgium

6. What is your occupation? A very flawed human being, just like you.

7. What are some of your talents or things you are proud of doing or having? I don't really see being proud of something as a positive thing, unless it's your kids :p That being said, I never would put a kid in this f'd up world, that's for sure ! As for my talents, they are many and few, depends on how you look at things I'm sure :p

8. What are your hobbies? They change every few years.... Lets say I dabbled in many things :) Lately getting into the modding scene has rekindled my interests in computer stuffz ;)

9. What games do you enjoy playing? Think I covered that already. Also enjoy board games and trading card games like Magic The Gathering and Netrunner. As for videogames, it's mainly indies atm, but I really like all sorts of games, except for sport games :) I do love sports in the real world, though I dislike competetive sports :) I'm more of a runner, skateboarder, swimmer, biker.... By myself :)

MMkay, these questions will do actually :p

Hello, I'm feist303. I'm a negative creep and I want to die ! Also god is dead, the world is unfair, and you may not realize it yet but there is a great big empty black void waiting for you, and once it comes it will be a big relief ! Also, FUCK NINTENDO !!!!!!!! Though only since recently as before they were my nr 1 gaming system :/ I still buy lots of games, but I'm not giving a penny to the fuckers that are taking down fan translated games that are hard to find and been out of print for years. I was very happy they made such a comeback with the Switch. Though the console isn't exactly consumer ready, but since it's selling so well they seem to have the time and recources to fight the war on drugs first instead of fixing all it's issues later it seems. Fuck that !!!!!! This morning when I read that emuparadise took down everything I trully felt like throwing my Switch into pieces !!!! Only got my OS PRO today, and though I was looking forward to starting with the Switch, I haven't even opened the Xecuter yet and I recon I won't for a while.... Let my Switch gather some dust for now, I have plenty of other things to play. Right now I can't look Nintendo in the eyes !!! :'(

Loooool, Thanks for reading <3 Didn't even realize this was such a wall of text hahaha. And to be honest I just answered the questions, there is so much more I wanted to say about myself and my interests but I felt the questions took up enough, euhm, loooooong answers? :p And thank you for the link ! Still have you anime forum bookmarked, and I do plan to get active there, as well as over here, it's just that I dabble into to many things :p Used to check this place out every day until a week or two ago I got back into jazz and black metal and been visiting other forums.... Since a day or 2-3 my interest in art-house cinema has been rekindled so now I'm visiting those places again hahaha. I do plan to become a regular here, and you will definitely see me in the near future on that anime forum you linked me ! Thank you for taking the time to reeeeaaaaad lol <3 :)
